4/25/08: Cookie Needs Your Help!
We knew Little Cookie had an issue with her right rear leg but we never imagined that it was due to a broken leg that was left untreated months ago! This love muffin is amazing with people, children, cats and other dogs. We can't erase her pain but we can help her walk normally again. Her total vet fees will run about $1100 for her spay, leg surgery and mange treatment. Please contact Suz at 415-672-7391 or email her at suz@bullyhaven.org if you can help with a portion of her vet fees or with fostering. Thank you for any help and positive energy!

We thank everyone for their interest; we're still going through the applications that have arrived for this little boy.
Little Ricky will be available for adoption around mid-May.

We're happy to report that Woody has been found! In true Woody form, he was chilling with a neighbor. His owner reports, "He was a happy little bully, hanging out with a family and their dog Sadie. 2/08/08: Evaluations Nearly Completed
Many dogs arrived at our kennel at nearly the same time so their observation periods are over this week. Several are still coping with being kennelled in harsh weather. We will begin matching our dogs to suitable homes this weekend. We thank everyone for their patience!
1/19/08: New Arrivals
In the house or expected to arrive this coming week are cat-friendly Spuddy, kid-friendly Rilo and Pebbles (they're used to being a horse for a 3 year old boy), and rowdy boyz Moose, Bullseye, Bullet and Sammy. Please stay tuned for more information on our little friends. If anyone can help transport a sweet and dog-friendly little girl from King City to the San Jose area, please contact Suz at suz@bullyhaven.org or 415/672-7391. She needs to be out of the shelter next weekend.
1/14/08: RIP Dearest Juneau Bear
When our beloved Big Bear suffered continuous seizure activity on 1/12/08, we knew the kindest thing was to spare him from any pain and discomfort. Although he leaves behind a huge void, we are happy that his final weeks were the best he probably had. He was indoors 24/7, doted on by loving parents and constantly surrounded by a plethora of his favorite fleecy blankets. Thank you, Juneau Bear, for bringing so much sunshine into our lives. Sweet dreams, big guy - - you're loved and missed more than you'll ever know.
1/10/08: Happy New Year!
We couldn't ask for a better holiday season as our kennel was cleared and Ned, Brody, Marti, Shay and Juneau Bear found wonderful, loving foster homes. It was no surprise that Miss Shay and Marti's foster families decided that they couldn't imagine their family without these two sweet girls. We remain grateful to such a caring bully community.
