Arya is now available for adoption. This little bundle of joy is 2-3 years old. Dog friendly with proper slow introduction. She is around 40-45lbs. She has been vetted and spayed. Arya’s requested a home with someone who has time to work on training, she enjoys learning but needs to trust you first. Arya is currently being fostered in Western Washington. Josie is our newest little addition in WA. She just got a ride in from Klamath Falls OR where she was found as a stray. This tri-colored girl is a little bit of a mystery but so far likes other dogs and playing. Interested in cats a little too much. Will get better info on age and health after she is properly vetted. Shelter thinks 4-5; we think a bit younger. She weighs 37lbs and is a smallish standard or a larger mini. Stay tuned for more information as we unravel the mystery that is Josie.
Pepper is Larry’s mother. She is 3 years old and about 45lbs. She is good with dogs outside of her home and has random resource guarding with the resident dogs. She is great with children, the family cat, chickens and livestock. Pepper needs a new home as one her owners suffered an injury to her hands and is unable to provide some much needed exercise and activities to Pepper. Like Larry, she is a world-class cuddler and loves baths. Pepper is crate, leash and house trained. Poor Zuko just can’t catch a break. His awesome foster dad had to leave for California immediately after a family emergency. His stay in California will be extended and he cannot bring Zuko with him as he’ll be caring for his father and have extended work hours in the family business. We have him back with his former interim fosterer but she can only hold for a week due to work constraints. Zuko will need an experienced and confident fosterer who will maintain the much needed structure, leadership and boundaries that he’s been thriving on the past few weeks. He is dominant and will resource guard his favored person so a strong, confident but loving leader who won’t be hesitant about giving him much needed structure is a must. He is good with other dogs but on a limited basis as he can become overstimulated during play. Zuko is 1.5 years old and about 52lbs. Our paws are crossed for this challenging little fellow. If your information is not yet on file, please complete our online application: http://www.bullterrierrescue.org/?page_id=572. An overview of our adoption process can be found here: http://www.bullterrierrescue.org/?page_id=3096.
Sissy needs a new home due to her family’s housing issues. She is about 3 to 5 years old and 65lbs. This mellow girl is great with the grandkids that are toddlers as well as the older ones. She’s a couch potato that gets snappy with the GSD x Basenji male when she doesn’t want to be bothered during naps. She did adore a tiny Chihuahua until he passed away. She gets very excited when she sees other dogs so on the safe side, she doesn’t get to meet them. Sissy is house trained but may need a refresher on leash and crate training. If your information is not yet on file, please complete our online application (http\://www.bullterrierrescue.org/?page_id=572). Please contact Suz at firstname.lastname@example.org or 415-672-7391 if you have any questions about this sweet girl.
