Maverick – Gilroy, CA – Foster Home Needed
We can’t help but to try to squeeze this little guy in our program. Maverick’s owner’s sudden and numerous family emergencies have left her caring for several older relatives on an almost full-time basis. She is unable to bring Maverick with her as he can be an energetic bull in a china shop. Maverick is a sweet, cuddly and playful 7mo guy who hasn’t been around with children nor dogs very much but he’s been polite to them when he sees them on walks. He tried to play with cranky Chihuahuas and didn’t mind when they tried to bite his legs off. The resident grumpy senior cat swats at him and he just takes off. This cutie is crate and leash trained (might pull in the beginning due to excitement) and will need a refresher on house training. I’m hoping for a foster/foster-to-adopt home for this goofy young lad. More current pictures are on their way.
